great location , but lacks maintenance
The fine sea view from my room took my breath away. The staff were helpful and attentive. I appreciated the lovely garden that added charm to my experience.
The hotel clearly needs maintenance.

the room of place was beautifully maintained and bright with character. it had very special and perfect location really close to a 700 year old masilamani nathar temple built in 1306 ad by the pandya king maravarman kulasekara pandyan and the danish fort.

Fairly clean hotel, particularly nice breakfast, the location is fantastic very close to a 700 year old Masilamani Nathar Temple built in 1306 AD by the Pandya King Maravarman Kulasekara Pandyan and the Dansborg Fort with a side gate opening through the garden to the parade ground. Large and huge room and good bathroom with a shower, guest toiletries, and bath sheets. Good beds and great service...

Breakfast was satisfactory, we really enjoyed the location of the place.
Everything was perfect, caring staff, great views of the Bay of Bengal. The location was best possible, for example, Dansborg Fort was just a short stroll away from the hotel.

The room had a nice veranda overlooking the sea, a huge plus after traveling. The furniture was pretty old and creaky. The bathroom was functional, but there were some cleanliness issues like fungus in the shower. The TV didn't work and the A/C was super noisy. Still, the bed was comfy enough for a good night's sleep.
